Localization World Bangkok

Singapore, 1st January 2014 – Nickson Cheng, the CEO of Lingua Technologies International has been invited as one of the panelists for a discussion session entitled: “East and West — Overcoming the Stereotypes”. Along with other distinguished panelists, Nickson will be sharing his views on this very interesting topic of cross-cultural and cross-boundary business.

This is not the first time Nickson has been invited to speak on similar topic. In 2009, Nickson spoke at the EUATC about the challenges of out-sourcing and working with Asian partners. His session was very well received at that time and interestingly, many of the points brought up at that time, remain very relevant till today.

“The irony of globalization and internationalization is that, as boundaries of business between nations disappear, countries are now, more so than ever, quick to reinforce their identities and stand up for their rights. Our job, as businesses and business people, is to overcome these challenges.” said Nickson Cheng.
